Although this realisation is for quartet, the postcard itself only shows a set of chords that open out in range, even though the chords are microtonally determined. Throughout each chord change there is an increasing degree of improvisation, the written realisation (see picture) is a kind of notated animation that I, as a player, either respond to or not.
